How to Clean and Protect Your Evening Dresses




Evening dresses are the pretty packaging for women in the parties or some other important occasions. Women always need them; however, you should also know how to protect them. However, in order to look perfect in your important occasion, it is also necessary to clean your dress for keeping it neat. Most of the formal dress should be dry cleaned professionally. But if your evening dresses are not made from special fabric like rayon, leather, you can also wash it yourself with some little tips.

In order to wash it in a right way, you should firstly prepare the things you need to wash it. Cleansing soap and terrycloth bath towels are necessary. For not damage your evening dress, you had better not use chemical remover to clean it. Then pour 2 tablespoon of soap into sink where fill with cold water. Soak your evening dress for 5 minutes for wetting it thoroughly. It is something like wash other special occasion dresses like wedding party dresses.

Then you should rub softly the dress with your hands to make dust or blot out of the dress. In this step, what you should pay attention is never rub your dress for removing the blot, which is easy to make your dress wrinkle. Then wash your dress with clean water for washing out soap.

At last, when you finish washing your dress you should firstly dry the dress with towel instead of hang directly your dress from water. Starting at the top of the gown, roll it up in the towel. As you roll, you're pressing the water out. Once they're completely rolled up, unroll the towel and the gown. At last, just transfer your formal dresses to a flat for drying.

In fact, as you may already know that it is not difficult to wash your evening gown at home, but it is essential to protect it from damage during washing. Follow the above instructions and you'll make it all by yourself.
